Cusco has a great cultural and architectural wealth, which is observed around the entire Andean landscape; each one different and that amazes everyone, for its location, its infrastructure, its functionality and the beautiful views it offers.
In all that beauty we find within the Sacred Valley, an archaeological center known as HUCHUY QOSQO, an enclosure built by the Inca Wiracocha, which according to the chroniclers from there strengthened the conquest of the Urubamba Valley.
Located at 3550 masl, Huchuy Qosqo which means "small Cusco" is located 5 km from the province of Calca and a summit on the basin of the Vilcanota river.
The best known access route is the walk that is made from Cusco or Calca, on the hiking route you will find beautiful landscapes full of flora, fauna and natural wealth as the lagoons that surround the enclosure, you will also pass through small towns and along from the route you can see the snowy mountains in all their splendor as the Pitusiray.
That is why the Inca Wiracocha in his last year of government decided to retire to Huchuy Qosqo and enjoy the beautiful views that nature offers until the day of his death.
