OOOOO "Great service, wonderful views from rooftop cafe"

Stayed here for two nights in a single plus room on the second floor, and paid just over $50 per night. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. My room was very clean and was ready when I arrived in the late morning. There was a problem with the safebox in the closet (it wouldn't open), but Elena managed to get it open and was ready to offer me another room if it didn't. The room gets a bit chilly in the evenings but there was a space heater. My room was right by the staircase, so light sleepers might have a problem with the sound of people coming and going.

The b&b is about a 10-15minute walk from the main square, and most of it is uphill. Something to bear in mind if you just arrived in Cusco and still dealing with the high altitude!

The property has a lovely cafe on the rooftop with amazing views of Cusco, where breakfast is served. It's open until 10pm, which makes it convenient for a late meal or drinks. I left really early my first morning for a day trip to Machu Picchu and missed breakfast, but the b&b prepared me for a lunch box for the trip at no extra charge, which was a nice gesture. While I was told that breakfast began at 6.30am, I showed up on my second morning (a Sunday) and was told it didn't begin until 7am. Not sure if that is just for Sundays, but the employee at the cafe suggested I have coffee while she began preparing the food.

There is also a beautiful garden at the b&b with both indoors and outdoors seating, and coffee, tea and coca tea which you can help yourself to.

The b&b arranged a taxi for me to go to the airport, and it arrived on time. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

A great place to enjoy Cusco and the Sacred Valley before heading to Machu Pichu, and even better to come back once we completed our trek. Owners and staff are helpful, the centro historico is within walking distance and the local restaurant and garden provide a perfect option to regain your energy after a day of exploration.

Since 2013 I regualrly visited Cusco, always staying at Pension Alemena. It has beome my home in Cusco. Not only for the owner's and the staff's welcoming and friendly manner but, also for its beautyful garden, its lovely cafeteria with a terrific view on Cusco. On the other hand, the associated Alemanatours offers various tours, following the principles ofregardful and sustainable tourism.

Very spacious place, nice garden, offers a great variety to spend the day at the hotel, excellent view and panorama of Cusco and mountains, coffee and tea bar offered 24 hours, 10 minutes walk downhill to Plaza de Armas and to city center. Receptionists very helpful. Cafeteria very nice where you can get your breakfast and drinks. Within close vicinity restaurants, tiny markets to buy water, travel agencies, all you need.

OOOOO  “Amazing service and breakfast with a view”

This hotel is a gem. We had three rooms for 4 nights. The rooms are comfortable and there are great views from the common areas. The breakfast was good every morning and there are always coca leaves near the lobby to help with the altitude. What really stood out was the friendly service. The staff helped us with airport and train station pickup. They also stored our luggage and had it ready in our room for the second leg of our stay. We were a group of 6 and they were more than accommodating for anything we needed. There is also a tour agent onsite that was helpful in finding the best fit for us. I would definitely stay again here if I had the opportunity.
